Overview Custom e-Catalogs integrate a supplier's Order Online program with their Thomas Register or externally-hosted web site. It provides suppliers the flexibility to create their own e-commerce-enabled user interface. Buyers can access Custom e-Catalogs directly through a URL or from Thomas Register-hosted online catalogs. Buyers can purchase products or request a quote (RFQ) for a specific product provided by the supplier. The Custom e-Catalog designer utilizes special tags coded into static HTML pages. These special tags specify how to display specific products, lists of products, or product headings. You can also use these special tags to code a simple search interface or display the number of products in the cart. The tags retrieve and display information from the live Order Online database, which contains the most up-to-date supplier product information. Custom e-Catalog functionality is available to any supplier whose advertising program includes TR Order Online, Thomas Register's electronic commerce offering.
